藤部 明子　Akiko TOBU

兵庫県生。1997年頃から写真を撮り始める。2003年秋に刊行された初の写真集『The Hotel Upstairs』、並びにツァイト・フォト・サロンにおける同シリーズの初個展により、第20回東川賞新人作家賞（2004）受賞。2冊目の写真集『Memoraphilia』はチェベ・ファン・タイエンを訪問した時の写真に詩的な文章が織り込まれた作品。
